BLOKE is a genderless artisanal label introducing a distinct notion of luxury through a Quirky and Artsy design aesthetic, enveloped with an undertone of consciousness. Founded by Faith Oluwajimi in 2015, to create well thought out garments and objects for its performative function and collectible purpose.


At BLOKE, we continually explore the possibilities for the creation of ethically made garments with impeccable attention to textile fabrication, and craftsmanship.


As a label with a quirky and artsy design aesthetic, devoted to sustainability, preservation of long established local artisanal practices, using locally sourced materials, we engage a small community of knitters, diverse textile artists, local artisans and design groups in Nigeria working closely together in communicating our design language and brand ethos.


Naomi Campbell, Duro Olowu, Adebayo Oke-Lawal, Mr.Eazi, Fireboy DML, Asa, Seyi Shay, Leriq, Madame Gandhi and many more have worn the label. With features in Vogue Magazine, Business of Fashion, Pansy Mag, L’Officiel Italia, L’Officiel USA, CNN,  Billboard, New York Times, WGSN, Hunger Magazine, Kaltblut Magazine, FGUK Magazine, Metal Magazine, Nataal Media, Vice Nederland, Cultured Magazine, Vanity Teen, Konbini amongst many others. 


In September 2016, Vogue Talents and Vogue Italia selected the label as one of the 200 Fashion Brands changing Fashion globally.

Also in February 2017, the label was featured as one of the African Brands to be discovered in a Vogue Italia spread written by Selena Olivia “AFRICAN FASHION: between styles, Fabrics, and Designers to be discovered”. 


In October 2018, The label won the maiden edition of EMERGE ALARA Award. In April 2019, The label became a recipient of the LAGOS FASHION WEEK Fashion Focus 2019 Fund.


In April 2020, our SS 20 offering shown at Lagos Fashion Week was curated for Getty Images 25thyear anniversary.

In September 2020, BLOKE collaborated with Italian Label VITELLI to create a capsule collection which was presented at Milan Fashion Week and highlighted as one of the best Presentation at Milan Fashion Week by Vogue Italia and also highlighted as one of the New Generation designers fostering Sustainability by Vogue Italia.

In November 2020, we were selected as an Arise Fashion Week 30 under 30 finalist to show our SS21 offering which was highlighted by L’Officiel USA as one of the top 10 African designers shaping global fashion.

In January 2021, we made our debut in Europe at Milan Fashion Week showing our AW 21 offering with positive reviews.

In March 2021, we got selected as a WGSN Future Designer which grants access to a year long industry insights.
In March 2021, we got featured on Vogue worldwide as one of the five boundary breaking designers shaking up the industry.
In April 2021, we got launched on SSENSE in Canada, making us the first Nigerian and arguably West African label to get stocked at the global store.
